In Anlehnung an einen berühmten Song einer legendären britischen Rockband biete ich meinen Bentley zum Verkauf.
Der R-Type ist eine Weiterentwicklung des bis 1952 gebauten Vorläufers MK VI mit vielen technischen Verbesserungen (z.B. Leistung, Hubraum, autom. Getriebe), einer deutlich schöneren Linienführung und einem wirklich nutzbaren Kofferraum.
Das Fahrzeug ist Baujahr 1954, seit 25 Jahren in meinem Besitz, verantwortungsvoll gewartet und in exzellentem Zustand. Aufgrund der Einfachheit seiner Konstruktion kann es von jeder gut ausgestatteten Werkstatt (Brit. Zoll-Maße) gewartet werden und die Ersatzteilversorgung ist, auch zu moderaten Preisen, ausgezeichnet. Der Wagen hat eine lückenlose Historie vom Erstbesitz bis heute einschließlich Building-Sheets und Auslieferungsunterlagen durch Jack Barclay in London. Die ca. 170000 mls sind anhand Service- und Wartungsunterlagen belegt. Regelmäßig auch auf Langstrecken und zu vielen Club-Treffen bewegt, zeigt er seinen Charakter als „Fahrzeug“ und nicht als „Standzeug“. Umfangreiche Literatur, Schriftwechsel und historische Dokumente legen sehr spannend seine automobile Geschichte offen. Berichte über das Fahrzeug und diverse Touren damit wurden in den letzten Jahren im deutschen Magazin des RREC (Rolls-Royce und Bentley Enthusiast Club) veröffentlicht.
Kompletter Werkzeugsatz, Original-Zubehör, User Manual und Technische Service-Handbücher sind vorhanden.

Das Fahrzeug ist sicherlich einer der authentischsten und besten in Deutschland gegenwärtig am Markt befindlichen R-Type Modelle.

Based on a famous song by a legendary British rock band, I am offering my Bentley for sale.
The R-Type is a further development of its predecessor MK VI, which was built until 1952, with many improvements (i.e. performance, big bore engine, automatic transmission), much nicer lines and a really usable trunk.
The vehicle was built in 1954, is in my possession for 25 years, has been responsibly maintained and presents itself in excellent condition.
Due to the simplicity of its construction, it can be serviced by any well-equipped workshop (UK dimensions) and the supply of spare parts is excellent even at moderate prices.
It has a complete history from the original owner up to now including building sheets and delivery documents by Jack Barclay in London. The approximately 170,000 mls are well documented using service and maintenance documents.
Regularly driven also on long distances and to several RREC-Club-Meetings, it shows its character as a “vehicle” and not as a “showroom car”.
Extensive literature, correspondence and historical documents reveal his automotive history in a very exciting way. Reports about the vehicle and various tours with it have been published in the German magazine of the RREC (Rolls-Royce and Bentley Enthusiast Club) in recent years. Complete tool set, original accessories, all handbooks and various service-parts come with the car.

The vehicle is certainly one of the best R-Types currently on the market in Germany.
