Description:
This is a complete body off restoration completed in November 2024 with many body panel welds and metal inserts that restored the TR6 to it's original quality. This includes new subframe + suspension parts. Then entire subframe is painted with a long term primer and rust inhibiter
Both the suspension upgrades and parts replacements have been made - especially the new rear shock support brackets.
Engine + transmission and rear end have all been tested and new fluids in ALL systems.
New TR6 brake rotors and both the master and slave cylinders replaced with brand new TR6 parts.
New clutch slave cylinder and release bearings were installed.
New floor panels on both driver and passenger side.
New wheel bearings on all 4 corners.
New circuit boards with latest fuse panels.
New AM/ FM + USB radio.
All wiring completely redone - all switches working properly.
New DUAL stainless steel exhaust mufflers and pipes installed with new / improved exhaust header. The entire exhaust system wrapped in heat resistant material.
TR6 interior has new shift tunnel and lever bearings with new red seats and carpeting.
New front driving lights installed plus additional push fan mounted between the radiator and intake panels. New thermostat unit installed.
Car currently has 20/ 50 mineral oil installed in engine.
New fan / radiator shroud and additional "pull" fan installed on the outside of radiator controlled by a switch on the instrument panel.
New high compression 120db air horn installed.
Tires are new with beautiful spoked wheels on all 4 corners.
Complete body off primer and repaint to the original TR6 spec red
color... car looks beautiful... zero rust... runs great.
Roof structure completely reworked and cover is in excellent condition.
Underside frame of TR6 is now completely coated in anti-rust layer of high temp paint and anti-corrossion film.
Dash completely redone and wiper blades are new.
This TR6 is a 4 speed + reverse with all syncros working extremely well.
Inner door windows mechanisms and rails completely rebuilt with new seals.
New 85amp alternator + fuel pump + fuel pressure filter units installed.
New brake vacuum boost installed.
New fan belt installed.
The TR6 is ready to drive on long trips feels great on the road as new steering bushings and pickups installed.
Two 4 point racing harnesses installed for both seats.

VIDEO OF UNDERSIDE OF TR6 AVAILABLE SHOWING EXCELLENT CONDITION. The TR6 was exported to Canada in the late70's... then purchased by a German Sportscar enthusiast from who I purchased the car in mid-2024 and started immediately for a complete restoration which was completed in early Dec. 2024.
I exclusively used the Limora Parts out of Italy and Germany spending over €23250 on the new TR6 new / original parts throughout the rebuild plus the original cost of buying and importing the TR6 out of Germany for Euro 13550.
I am a sportscar racer my entire life and have always wanted to buy... then rebuild this TR6 model ... as it brought me back to the basics of sport car ownership.
The red color looks great as well as the stripes down the middle of the car.
Extremely easy to maintain and driving it in the open air is a great experience with the top down.... a true sportscar.
